Detroit was insane. Apparently I’m going to be working with Mike E. Clark, Insane Clown Posse and Kid Rock’s producer. He was immediately taken by the set and asked me to come record this Tuesday at his Lakeside Cabin/Studio in MI. I told him let’s schedule something for early summer so I think we’re gonna do a 7” or something. WHAT THE WHAT!?!? Couldn’t make this shit up.

First piece of press for my UK tour comes from Time Out London!
“Cleveland, Ohio based singer-songwriter Max Sollisch ventures to the UK with his guitar for the first time to play a trio of free London gigs in a cake shop, a pub and Brixton’s Windmill. He describes his music as ‘oddball folk’, which isn’t far off the mark, but there’s a lot more depth to it than Sollisch gives himself credit for. His lyrics are witty observations of life sung in a delicate, Neil Young-styled refrain. Don’t miss Dolfish while he’s over.”

I recently launched a webstore and wanted to extend a deal your way. I had a good friend- Gabe Taxman of Align Creations- print 45 of this “Your Love is Bummin’ Me Out” throw back design on SUPER SOFT tultex tees. If you purchase one by midnight tonight I will ship it out tomorrow and include a free copy of my new album, “I’d Rather Disappear Than Stay the Same” on CD. AND they’re only $15!
